Columbus Tea Party: Photos
Today’s event was an incredible success, so much so that this is the site to watch for information on a Columbus Tea Party on April 15th as part of the National Tax Day Tea Party movement that is catching fire. It was chilly but not too bad, and on a day where many “politicos” were out watching or working on the various St. Patrick’s Day parades around Central Ohio, we had a nice turn out of around 200. What really impressed me was how fired up the crowd was. I’m going to be uploading some video later, including Congressman Jim Jordan speaking, but here are some pictures that were taken from the rally. Very cool:
Featured below is Ohio State University College Republican Secretary Danelle Gagliardi. She gave an excellent speech and even got a joke in about “that state up north” and their sorry excuse for a football team. Well-delivered and full of red meat:
Jack Boyle of American for Prosperity did an excellent job too. He was the attack dog of sorts, going after Republicans just as much as Democrats for their role in wasteful spending and earmarks. AFP Ohio unveiled a new message campaign exposing that fees are taxes too, no matter what Ted Strickland says.

And, of course, you can’t get more than half a dozen people together that are skeptical about the stimulus bill without making fun of the stimulus czar, Vice President Joe Biden. One two-sided sign made light of one of his “gaffes” from the campaign:
Finally, I couldn’t post pictures from an event where I was the Master of Ceremonies without posting at least two pictures of me behind the podium, probably embarassing myself with hand gestures or something along those lines. More to come:

These are the best looking bunch of protestors evah.
I wanted to be in Columbus at this event, but did not know in time and something else took first. I will be there on April 15 and I am going to get as many people as I can to come.

I proud that My mother and I rallied together in front of the Capital. True Grassroot Buckeyes, that want grow a brighter future for my newphew and my mom’s grandson, Tim. We do not want Tim’s Generation to pay for all of the Current Government’s “51 Day Spending Spree”. The best Poster Saying: “Congress your Credit Card has just been Cancelled.”

Any parking lots close and parking cost? comming from north on rt23. I have never driven in columbus and I’m comming April 15th.!!
I hope we all remember those on the Columbus City Council who constantly vote to tax,tax,tax and spend,spend,spend (and that’s all of them)and toss them out this November. How about a CHANGE for Columbus?
April 15, what a great event in Columbus, Ohio. The group was focused. The movement continues to grow. The talk show hosts Rush, Shawn, Neal, Glenn, and Michael will be shut down in order to stop the movement. Watch and rally if this occurs. Sincerely the “TAX SLAVE”.

I enjoyed your protest and your signs!! On April 15TH, I attended the “San Antonio, Tea Party.” It was a huge turn out. I estimate over 15,000 .
You can see all of the 12 photos I took on “Teapartyphotos.com” on the home page click on “SC - WY” on the top right and then “Texas Tea Parties” There are 11 of the 12 pictures I took there. On the same site top right on home page is a picture of an Astronaut. This video “An American Anthem” was created by Justin in AL in one hour. View it full screen, it speaks volumes to who we are as a Nation. Don’t Underestimate!!
I am sure you all have heard the quote from Thomas Jefferson “If your Country is big enough to give you everything, they are strong enough to take everything.”
At the “Covington Louisiana Tea Party” They said “A short twenty years ago Our National deficit reached a Trillion dollars.” At that time Ronald Reagan said “We do not have a Trillion dollar deficit because we don’t tax enough, We have a Trillion dollar debt because we spend too much.” Our national debt today is 11 Trillion dollars!!
Our current administration’s budget for this year is 3.4 Trillion. They are spending 12 Billion dollars a day and they are just getting started.
