Columbus Residents on Suicide Watch?
Not only are our elected city and state officials (for the most part) a joke here in Columbus, Ohio, but their requests are laughable. Apparently, the whole city is on a sort of suicide watch, because it looks like some of the stimulus money might be going to an anti-suicide railing:
Now Rush Limbaugh has spread news coast to coast about a project Obama is funding for us. Obama’s going to build a protective railing for a bridge in Columbus to keep people from jumping off of it. Seriously.

Neither Justin nor his mumblenuts camp follower can provide substantial answers to the questions — although Justin’s unwillingness to respond indicates strongly that the answer to (4) is a resounding “NO”.

2) waste of federal stimulus money? definitely. the tax payers of America are footing the bill for something that notably would be nice to have but could be better allocated. Even investing the couple million dollars into a suicide prevention agency would keep more people from killing themselves. of course, i wouldn’t agree with that either as it won’t create jobs, it will only be a waste of money. ultimately, if someone wants to kill themselves, they will do it. if there is a will, there is a way.
3) only if they are a) perfectly sane b) have no debts and have their funeral/will all taken care of c) do it in a manner that is private and the “clean up” is paid for. also they would have to be older than 18 years of age and get a permit. so in a way, yes.
but jumping off a bridge can’t be allowed. too messy, too public.
4) these questions shouldn’t even be asked. they aren’t stupid questions, but i bet the one asking them is stupid. like i said before, if you have a question, just google it.
maybe he is just ignoring you because you aren’t worth his time? justin is a busy guy. i however, am not, so i periodically go on here to make sure you aren’t being stupid.

2) the date on which construction will begin
3) the specific construction methods to be used to build the railing
4) the exact cost of building the railing
5) the contractor(s) who will build the bridge
