Success: The Revolution Begins in the Thousands

Update: We have some more blog coverage, even from some big sites. Also, Channel 10 ran a great story about the event. I guess I was on a bunch of the local news stations too so I’ll try to snag video when I can. Energy level is still high for me here.

Apparently some news outlets are saying 3,500, some are saying 5,000, and others are estimating that 7,000 people showed up. If you were there, you felt it. A revolution, one that is centered in our Constitution, our Declaration of Independence, and common-sense values, is starting. I had a lot of fun and I thank everyone for their support and enthusiasm. I’ll have more information, videos, pictures, and commentary over the next couple of days, but for now I just wanted to post a crowd video and a few photos capturing the size and scope of what we accomplished today. Way to go Central Ohio:

  1. I graduated OSU ‘92. I attended a TEA party in Boston today. I have never done anything like that. It was great. I am a conservative republican/libertarian. I really feel like today was a huge step forward for our country. I’m glad that some at OSU that feel the same way.

    Go Bucks!

  4. My wife is from Ohio, and I have been an OSU fan since I was like 6 even though I grew up in Montana. You Buckeyes make me PTBAA (proud to be an American)! I have been WAYYY down in the dumps these past six months but this action is renewing the faith. WE shall overcome, in the end, we the people…this fling with socialism is just a weird, midlife crisis for the Republic. Best of luck with school, the blog, and life…

  7. Thank you Justin for a wonderfully organized rally. And thank John Kasich for his inspiring address. The tea party rocked! And, this is only the beginning.
You can bet too that we will be hearing a lot more from Justin in the future!

  8. The problems of success - you guys are gonna have to get a better PA system. With a crowd that big it was hard to hear the speakers from the back. Way to go!

  9. Justin, I am so proud of you!

  11. I was at the Zanesville, Ohio party last night and it was AMAZING!!! I was PROUD to be there on behalf of “RECHARGE OHIO” (www.RechargeOhio.com)… we had a great turn out for our little community and I can’t wait to do this again and I hope we will continue doing this until those people out in Washington start listening to us!!!

  12. So with all the camera’s there where is all the pictures.. The video is great. But where is all the pictures?? Someone please post a link.

  13. Justin, great job! The Tea Party was awesome! I am so ready for the next round! It was so encouraging to see so many people come together! Let’s keep making noise and make Washington listen!

  14. I attended this rally with my best friend and it was a great expierience. Not many kids our age(16) were out there though, but i think that they should be aware of the situation that we are all in. this is going to affect our group the most and im just glad that i am aware of this.

  15. Congrats Justin! Great job and (as I know) a lot of hard work on your part! You have a great future ahead of you.. keep it up and thanks for allowing me to speak last night. That was one of the biggest thrills of my life and I’m ready for more!

  17. thanks for the update….i was at the party and enjoyed your speech! loved the oh-io!

  18. I attended the Columbus TEA PARTY and was blown away at the fabulous success of your efforts to organize and pull this off with amazing results. Being among the thousands in the well behaved crowd of everyday Ohioans made me extremely proud to be an AMERICAN. Standing up to those who are steamrolling our American Way of Life is a new activity for me and for many in that particular crowd, I’d bet, but we can no longer be the SILENT MAJORITY. This was just the START of some unbelievable PEACEFUL and LAWFUL efforts to take our country back.

Great job, Justin! YOU will be a famous GOOD politician a few years down the road. Bet on it!
