McCain Slams Obama’s Cult of Celebrity
I have to say, I like McCain’s new pop-culture friendly ad much more than the German techno web ad, but I suppose they’re playing to two different audiences. The McCain camp, hitting on Obama’s global celebrity, has released the following ad which features a few pop-culture shameful figures:
I suppose one place where I disagree with Allahpundit from Hot Air is when he says this is the first of the three “Cult of Obama” ads to employ it to a useful end. The German techno ad was funny, and I thought the McCain pump ad was very well-done. Either way you see it, we can all agree this new ad does a great job of tying politics to recognizable entertainment figures, and hits Obama hard.

McCain looks like a grownup, not a rockstar. McCain offers solutions rather than empty rhetoric and socialism.
