Singing for Change, Not Really…
It’s a seperate world, and it includes a microcausm of the ultra-leftist bubbles some Americans find themselves in. I’ve been to Washington D.C. a couple times to participate in some counter-demonstrations, supporting the war and standing up to the brainwashed forces of ultra-liberalism. Still, I wasn’t quite ready for some of the freaks here. These aren’t Ohio State students, but they’re campus visitors that the Obama supporters embraced:
The second song in the video sounds a bit familiar, doesn’t it? It’s set to the tune, and carries the theme, of an old Southern Baptist hymn “I’ll Fly Away”, which is not only popular but it’s appeared in a well-known movie. The fact that a hymn’s being adopted as a leftist anthem is telling to me. Here are the original words of the first verse and chorus:
Some bright morning when this life is over
I’ll fly away
To that home on God’s celestial shore
I’ll fly away
I’ll fly away oh glory
I’ll fly away (in the morning)
When I die hallelujah by and by
I’ll fly away
I prefer the message of the original Messiah and the salvation I have coming over this new message of this new leader. Socialism is not positive change, spreading the wealth around won’t work, and I will vote for change, but through John McCain, a real reformer, not some trumped up “Messiah” of liberalism.
Only one thing missing in this video, Justin. Ah yes, here it is:

I threw up a little in my mouth watching this. Obama nerds and bad music = epic fail.
Hey Justin;
We are at war.
I see that you are an able bodied young man.
What in the hell are you doing playing video games?
Join the Army.
America needs you now!
My grandson joined the Army and served in Iraq.
He’s going back in a couple of months.
May God bless him.
Please! Put down the Gameboy and join the fight!
We need you.
Talk your friends into joining too.
It’s nearly too late.
We are losing in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Superior firepower requires superior fingers on the trigger.
It’s not somebody else’s job.
Wake up Justin.
Enlist now!
If we lose these wars, your degree won’t be worth the paper it’s printed on.
Every able bodied man in my family fought in WWII, Korea, and VietNam.
Wake up Justin!
This is your job, not just some other dumb sucker’s.
Put down the Gameboy, give the sports tickets away, and join in the fight.
Where are the men of your generation?
Are you afraid to sacrifice for your country?
